Students support Sponsor Child
On Tuesday 1 September, Darwin High School students and staff held a fundraiser BBQ to support the living and education of a sponsor child in Columbia.
The sponsor child is a community project supported by the school's lunchtime club, the Christian Discussion Group. The students raised $255 to support their sponsor child Isaac and are in constant contact via letters.
The Christian Discussion Group meets each week in B16 at Tuesday lunchtimes and this meeting is open to all students interested in a lively discussion based on content found in the bible. For more information contact Ms Rosie Reimers.
