Earlier this month, Darwin High School Senior Intensive English Unit (SIEU) students went on a tour of the Darwin Fire Station. Many of the students had never been to a fire station before with some only arriving in Australia last year.
The SIEU class were given a hands on display of firefighting equipment and lessons in the dangers of fire, the importance of home safety and what to do if there was a fire.
Recently, over 20 of our Stage 1 Health and Wellbeing students participated in the Prevent Alcohol and Risk-Related Trauma in Youth (P.A.R.T.Y.) Program.
Students and their families are encouraged to download the Darwin High School Compass app to their smart phone/tablet device.
