Students visit the Darwin Fire Station

Earlier this month, Darwin High School Senior Intensive English Unit (SIEU) students went on a tour of the Darwin Fire Station. Many of the students had never been to a fire station before with some only arriving in Australia last year.

The SIEU class were given a hands on display of firefighting equipment and lessons in the dangers of fire, the importance of home safety and what to do if there was a fire.
