Top End Youth Conference 2025

On Friday 4 April, the last day of Term 1, students from Years 9–12 gathered at Marrara Stadium for the highly anticipated Top End Youth Conference 2025 — and this year’s event went BIG!
Fifty-nine students and three staff members from Darwin High School attended the event, enjoying an inspiring day of panel talks, music performances, and hands-on activities. Students particularly enjoyed the panel discussions on career pathways, the vibrant music performances, and browsing the many interactive stalls during the break.
The event featured an epic lineup of performers, speakers, and stalls. Special guest Nat Kelly from Behind the News broke down some of the big issues facing young people today, while musical performances from Yung Milla, Jimmy Rambles, Abbey Rapkins, Lord Ndoro, and others kept the energy high throughout the day.
The crowd was especially pumped for PHLthebeat, who delivered incredible live dance performances and brought unstoppable energy to the stage!
Students also had the opportunity to engage with a huge range of expo stalls, youth panels, and talks from young entrepreneurs making waves across the NT. It was a day packed with learning, connection, and celebration of the young mob of the Top End.
The event was free for students, and everyone came together to share ideas, passion, and culture.
