What's Cooking at Darwin High
Our Home Economics students are back cooking up a storm in the kitchen. Here is a snapshot of some of their culinary creations over the past fortnight.
The Year 10 Stylish Food students have started their introduction to Finger Food and Catering and this week made a range of delicious sweet and savoury scones.
On Tuesday the Year 11 #Cooking students created Mega Freak Shakes! The milk shake was made from almond milk and bananas and covered in paleo caramel, chocolate sauce, lolly treats and a vegan sunflower brownie.
The Year 12 Food and Hospitality students created their signature desserts today as part of their final assessments. Pictured below is a Summer Passion Tart and a Matcha Ice Cream filled Donut.
Café Ah Toy is again delivering delicious food and drinks to students and staff at Darwin High School. The Stage 1 Integrated Learning – Coffee Shop is open at lunchtime Thursday, serving an impressive array of savoury and sweet food, and hot and cold drinks.
