Week 4 Whole School Assembly

Week 4 Whole School Assembly

On Monday of Week 4 we held our second whole school assembly for the year. Hosted by members of our Student Representative Council, the assembly celebrated a number of student achievements and shared some of the exciting activities happening around campus.

Following an acknowledgement of country, Year 12 student Sophie Kuswadi sang that National Anthem and Mr Hewett delivered his Principal's Address.

Sophie then returned to the stage along with Year 12 student Lydie Harper to perform Hallelujah and Year 11 students Pak Chan and Hanna Eastick spoke to students about how to get involved in the Student Spotlight Magazine.

Some of our Stage 2 Dance students delivered a group performance - Helium and Year 11 student Yufen Chen a musical solo Gabriel's Oboe.

Using a raffle system for students with 100% attendance, one student from each year level received an Attendance Award and students who had received a 'thumbs up' in Compass for demonstrating the school values went into the draw for our Thumbs Up Awards. Congratulations to the following students:

  • Attendance Awards: Glorian Bain (Year 10), Elizabeth Aleta (Year 110 Lachlan McAllister (Year 12) and Furba Lama (SIEU)
