Year 10 Drama Theatresports

Year 10 Drama Theatresports

Last Wednesday the Year 10 Drama class held a “Theatresports” competition as part of their course assessment.

“Theatresports” is a form of improvisation that uses competition for dramatic effect. Six teams of four enjoyed playing a variety of games including Expert Double Figures, Sit-Stand-Lie, Typewriter and Space Jump. Everyone competed very enthusiastically as they demonstrated the skills and techniques they had learnt throughout the term.

The judging panel included Assistant Principal Rohan Ford, Year 10 Coordinator Nick Ergos, and DHS teachers Deb Harrision and Peter Stretton.

In the end, the judging panel declared the “Bandana Bandits” as the winners with the “Black Shirted Bureaucrats” taking out second place and the “Funtastic 4" taking out the coveted wooden spoon!
