Year 10 student Andria Baltazar wins Most Outstanding Award

On Thursday 30 November Darwin High School Year 10 student Andria Baltazar was recognised as the Most Outstanding student in Certificate 1 in Retail Baking at an award evening at Charlies Darwin University (CDU). 

The Vocational Education and Training (VET) course is run by CDU and aims to cater for the training requirements for an occupation in Retail Baking. 

CDU VET Lecturer, Bill Denniss said that

Andria's parents were very proud of her achievement and the award was great recognition of her hard work. Andria was head and shoulders above the other student in 2017 and a pleasure to teach
