​Celebrating Success at the GTNT Apprentice of the Year Awards

Earlier this month, Darwin High School was proud to support Year 12 student Isabella Savage at the 2025 GTNT Apprentice of the Year Awards. Isabella was a finalist in the School-Based Apprentice of the Year category and was named runner-up—a fantastic achievement in what was a highly competitive field. She represented herself and the school with confidence and professionalism, and we are incredibly proud of her efforts.

In more great news, former Darwin High student George Beattie took home the Stage 1 Apprentice of the Year award! George’s success is a testament to his hard work and passion for his chosen trade. On behalf of the school community, we extend our congratulations and wish him continued success in his apprenticeship journey.

Well done to both Isabella and George—wonderful role models for our current and future students!
