Darwin High’s Street Library

Darwin High’s Street Library

In 2016 the entire Year 10 SOHP English class entered the Footpath Library’s Epic! Short Story competition and Morgan Gurry won for her story of friendship and Darwin High School won a Street Library for submitting the most number of entries of any school in Australia.

In 2017 artistic members of the Year 10 SOHP English class painted the Street Library and now in 2018 it can be found outside A6, the English/Humanities Faculty door. It is full of books ready for Darwin High students and staff to borrow and return after enjoying.

Do you have books you want to add to the library to share with others?

If you have books you enjoyed and would like to add to the street library, then put them in Darwin High’s beautifully decorated Street Library.

Happy reading!
