Do you know UNO?

Do you know UNO?

Shout out to Year 12 student Hajrah Kamran for organising a friendly UNO competition as a lunchtime activity to help our Secondary Intensive English Unit  (SIEU) students.

Hajrah approached the SIEU teachers with her idea earlier this Term and the UNO competition has been running every Tuesday with great success.

The UNO activity provided SIEU students, with an opportunity to make connections with mainstream students, practise English, and have some fun. The students work in groups of five or six learning how to play the game and discussing strategies. They also spend time finding out more about Darwin High School and Darwin. With Hajrah being a bit of a UNO champion herself, the challenge is set!

Thank you Hajrah for such a wonderful idea!
