Engineer on Campus
By student Lachlan Anderson
On 15 February 2018, the Year 11 Method Maths classes were visited by Daly Kelly, who works for Conoco Phillips at Darwin’s LNG plant. Mr Kelly explained the importance of Mathematics in conducting risk analysis, maintenance and processing at the plant, and described the process from gas collection to exportation.
The class enjoyed the engineering activities, and thoroughly appreciated the break from polynomial equations and Mrs Tan’s legendary roasts.
