Darwin High School will be having a school review from Tuesday 12 - Friday 16 of March. All Northern Territory schools are reviewed by an external team every 4 years, and this assists the school to set its strategic direction for the next 4 years.
Exit Art is a celebration of the talents and creativity of the next generation of artists and designers, presenting the very best contemporary art and design from Northern Territory Year 12 students. Presented by the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory in partnership with the Northern Territory Department of Education, Exit Art reflects the diversity of the Territory’s artistic practice and practitioners, expressing universal themes of identity, place and the environment.
The 2024 Darwin High School Student Representative Council (SRC) is a fantastic and diverse mix of new and old members.
Valentines Day is celebrated differently at Darwin High School. A pink gorilla plays ‘Valentine’ and surprises our students, teachers and staff with cookies!

Three of our amazing Year 12 students Monishi Tripura, Vincent Mondol and Niyaz Hasan have been selected to present their project at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in LA in May.
By Year 12 student Vincent Mondol. In January earlier this year, I was fortunate enough to participate in the National Youth Science Forum (NYSF), a state-of-the-art science program being held annually since 1984.
By Year 12 Student Rupendren Manimaran. On the 7 of January, I was nervous. It was my first time taking a flight by myself, my first-time transiting for six hours, and my first time being so far away from family.
