The Darwin High school band had a busy schedule in Week 4, performing at a whole school assembly and the Indonesian Independence Day celebrations.
Over a four night season, approximately 1100+ audience members viewed SECRETS, an exceptional Dance performance described by audiences as: BRILLIANT! - WOW! - INCREDIBLE! - CAPTIVATING! - REALISTIC! - MEMORABLE! - HEARTFELT!

On 8 August 2016, we launched our first ever crowdfunding campaign to buy an industrial robot arm for students studying Technology subjects. With your generosity and support we can reach our fundraising target!
Darwin High and CPA Australia have finalised a partnership that that will provide Business and Accounting students with access to industry professionals, mentors, subject prizes and internship opportunities in accounting practices and financial management teams.
On 25 July, all Darwin High School teachers participated in a whole school professional development day.

For over ten years, Darwin High School Teacher and Faculty Senior for Health/PE, Penny Mcintyre, has been working with respected early childhood educator, Louise de Bomford-Scott. Together they provide Senior Secondary students with hands on experiences in the child care sector.
The Year 11 Centre for Excellence Mathematics Class had the opportunity to meet a prominent Mathematician, Mr Bill Shorter.
