In August, three Year 11 students from Stage 1 Centre for Excellence (C4E) Mathematical Methods attended the Batchelor Mathematics Camp

Darwin High School was invited to showcase the specialist technology available to our students at the Skills 2021 Expo at Parliament House.

Darwin High School welcomed Mrs Monica Oliphant AO to our school assembly. Mrs Oliphant was here on behalf of the Oliphant family to present Darwin High with a portrait of renowned physicist, Sir Mark Oliphant, her father-in-law. The portrait is on long-term loan to the school and will be displayed in the E Block Science area.

The Year 11 Centre for Excellence Mathematics Class had the opportunity to meet a prominent Mathematician, Mr Bill Shorter.

The Charles Darwin University School of Engineering and IT recently visited Darwin High to provide students with information about engineering.

As part of our involvement with the Mathematicians in Schools Program students in Stage 1 and 2 Mathematics classes were visited by a ConocoPhillips Engineer, Daly Kelly.
