​Three of our amazing Year 12 students Monishi Tripura, Vincent Mondol and Niyaz Hasan have been selected to present their project at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in LA in May.

By Year 12 student Vincent Mondol. In January earlier this year, I was fortunate enough to participate in the National Youth Science Forum (NYSF), a state-of-the-art science program being held annually since 1984.

By Year 12 Student Rupendren Manimaran. On the 7 of January, I was nervous. It was my first time taking a flight by myself, my first-time transiting for six hours, and my first time being so far away from family.

In Week 9 of Term 4 three of our Year 11 students Mohammad Hasan, Pothik Mondol and Monishi Tripura along with Mr Ergos and Ms McConnell travelled to Brisbane to attend the International Student Science Fair at Queensland University. What a fantastic opportunity for our budding young scientists!

​On Monday 11 December Darwin High School celebrated the achievements of our Year 10, 11 and SIEU students at a special ceremony at Darwin Middle School.

Congratulations to Qitao Shi and Owen Doran who were recognised at the 2023 Duke of Edinburgh award ceremony.
