Darwin High School Visual Art Students have excelled this year at the Royal Darwin show, securing first place in all Senior Visual Arts categories and earning the prestigious recognition for the best senior exhibit.

​On Wednesday 2 August four Year 11 Darwin High School students, Shah Zaib, Andreas D'Arrigo, Atif Saeed and Shazil Malik attended the Jingili Primary School for their annual Science Expo.

​Last month skippers from around the globe gathered in Colorado Springs in America for the International Jump Rope Union (IRJU) World Jump Rope Championships. Darwin High School students Madison Bowler (Year 10), Ruby Joswig and Abbey George (Year 11) and Class of 2022 graduate Sammy George, were among the athletes representing competing for glory.

PROLOGUE presented by the 2023 Stage 2 DHS Dancers establishes the song-lines that have connected this group during their dance journey at DHS and is a celebration of the next chapter of their lives.

​In 1963 Darwin High School relocated to its present site at Bullocky Point. This year the school will celebrate the 60th Anniversary of operating at Bullocky Point with a special event on Saturday 2 September from 4.30pm.

​Curious Minds is a national program that aims to encourage and support girls in grades 9-11 in the field of STEM. After an online camp in December 2022, and a six-month STEM coaching program, during the second week of the holidays Matilda Crowe and I were able to attend the Curious Minds camp in Adelaide.

​In week 10 of Term 2, thanks to the support of the NT Government's International Education Innovation Grant, Darwin High School Italian language students had the opportunity to participate in a cooking class with our guest and professional chef, Alessio from Alfonsino’s.
