This week our Stage 1 Visual Art students enjoyed excursions to the CBD to take a tour lead by DHS Art teachers Miss Polly and Miss Jemima of the artwork produced by local artists as part of the annual Darwin Street Art Festival.

​This week our Year 10, Stage 1 and Stage 2 drama students visited Browns Mart theatre to see the production of “The 7 Stages of Grieving” by Wesley Enoch and Deborah Mailman.

Our Stage 2 Outdoor Education class at Darwin High School have been exploring human connections to nature and how developing reciprocal relationships leads to human health benefits and improved environmental sustainability.

This week saw the first meeting of the NT Youth Voice Peak Group in Darwin. Two Darwin High School students, Year 10 student Wil Gowand year 11 student Amy Tinsley were selected to represent the school late last year.
