​Darwin High School has returned from the 5th International High Schools and Clubs Basketball Championship held in Kulum Malaysia as runners up.

In the last few weeks of the school term ​Darwin High School Year 10 Food for Life students undertook an assessed group activity which required them to plan and prepare meals utilizing rescued food for Foodbank.

On Saturday 25 November twenty Darwin High School students and three teachers departed Darwin for their World Challenge adventure to Botswana and Namibia.

On Thursday 30 November Darwin High School Year 10 student ​Andria Baltazar was recognised as the most outstanding student in Certificate 1 in Retail Baking at an award evening at Charlies Darwin University.

Darwin High School Year 10 Semester 2 Art students have been creating masterpieces as part of the practical component of their unit.

On Monday 20 November fourteen Darwin High School students received recognition at The NT Youth Business Award at Parliament House Darwin for their efforts and achievements in business and enterprise. Darwin High School was awarded the Overall Winner for 2017 for Consistently High Performing Entries.

​Congratulations to Darwin High School students Andrew Northcote, Bridget Ciubal, Ellie Price and Mitchell Northcote. Last night these incredible students were presented with Duke of Edinburgh Silver Awards at Parliament House.

​Four Darwin High School students have continued the school’s longstanding tradition of participating in the annual Remembrance Day ceremony at the Darwin Cenotaph on Saturday 11 November.

​Congratulations to Darwin High School Year 12 student, Uday Alexander on his film Constable Rebound winning the 2017 Comedy Bond University Film and Television Award (BUFTA). BUFTA is a short film competition for aspiring filmmakers from Year 11 and 23 secondary schools across Australia and Uday was one of two finalists from the Northern Territory.
