​Darwin High School Year 11 student Kim Easton has been selected for the 2020 National Youth Science Forum in Canberra.

​Darwin High School students Georgia Glover and Liam Harwood have been selected along with around 120 other Year 11 and 12 students from across Australia to travel to Canberra next year.

Earlier this year, Darwin High School Year 11 student ​Aaron Knight-Nilsson, was selected in the AFL Inclusion All-Australian squad.

​Last term, Chinese, Spanish, Italian, Japanese and Indonesian classes participated in the Assessment of Languages Competence (ACER).

On ​Friday 25 October, 18 Darwin High School Information Technology students visited a technology showcase at Fannie bay.

On Wednesday 23 October twenty-two Darwin High School Stage 1 Child Studies students volunteered at a Family Fun Day community event at Jingili Water Gardens for Universal Children’s Day.

​On Monday 21 October the Honourable Selena Uibo MLA, Minister for Education officially opened Darwin High Schools new STEAM building. The event was also attended by many members of our school community, who joined us in celebrating this incredible new facility.

​The hard work, training and preparation for the Darwin High School performing arts students auditioning for the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) has paid off! Congratulations to four of our Year 12 Darwin High School dancers.

​On Thursday 24 October the winners of the 29th Young Territory Author Awards 2019 were announced at the Darwin Entertainment Centre. The event saw two Darwin High School students recognised for their entries as talented young writers.
