​The Darwin High School Dance Department entertained audiences with an evening of dance and merriment with their final dance showcase for 2019 on Friday 15 November.

​Darwin High School students have continued the School’s longstanding tradition of participating in the annual Remembrance Day ceremony at the Darwin Cenotaph on Monday 11 November.

​On 1 August 2019, fifty-four students from Darwin High School sat the Australian Mathematics Competition and last Wednesday six Darwin High School students and one of our talented teachers were recognised at the 2019 Australian Mathematics Trust (AMT) NT Awards.

​Darwin High School Year 11 student Kim Easton has been selected for the 2020 National Youth Science Forum in Canberra.

​Darwin High School students Georgia Glover and Liam Harwood have been selected along with around 120 other Year 11 and 12 students from across Australia to travel to Canberra next year.

​Last term, Chinese, Spanish, Italian, Japanese and Indonesian classes participated in the Assessment of Languages Competence (ACER).

On ​Friday 25 October, 18 Darwin High School Information Technology students visited a technology showcase at Fannie bay.

On Wednesday 23 October twenty-two Darwin High School Stage 1 Child Studies students volunteered at a Family Fun Day community event at Jingili Water Gardens for Universal Children’s Day.

​On Monday 21 October the Honourable Selena Uibo MLA, Minister for Education officially opened Darwin High Schools new STEAM building. The event was also attended by many members of our school community, who joined us in celebrating this incredible new facility.
