On Friday 17 August Darwin High School held its third annual Pride Day event. This student-led initiative supported LGBTQIA+ students, and is part of Darwin High School’s ongoing wellbeing focus.

On Thursday 16th September, the Stage 1 Politics class went on an excursion to Parliament House.

On Friday 17 August the entire Senior Intensive English Unit (SIEU) crew left the safety of Darwin High School to embark on a fabulous adventure.
On Wednesday 13 June the SIEU Work Ready Skills class ran a food-stall called Chakoola (chakoola means ‘food’ in Swahili) in the A-covered way.
The Darwin community is celebrating Refugee Week with a variety of events. Families from the SIEU participated in a special community lunch on Saturday 16th June at Melaleuca Refugee Centre as part of the Welcome Dinner Project.
On Friday 16 June our DHS Boys Basketball team departed Darwin for Malaysia. Year 10 students Manoj Rajkumar and Zeb Hantlemann, Year 11 students William Burton, Steven Kalikajaros and Lucas Duncan were joined by Ned Stevens, Bayden Paterson-Dunn, Dante Ah Sam and Billy Paterson were representing Darwin High at the 6th International High School Basketball Championships in Penang.
On Wednesday 13 June, Twenty-five of our dance students and two teachers left to Perth on Wednesday for Darwin High School’s annual Dance Trip.
On Saturday 16 June, the Plain English Speaking Award NT final was held at Darwin High School.
Last week the Year 10 Food for Life classes made nearly 300 ready to reheat meals for those with food insecurity. All of this was done in one double lesson using foods ‘rescued’ from Foodbank NT in Berrimah.
