Congratulations to Darwin High School Year 12 student, Uday Alexander on his film Constable Rebound winning the 2017 Comedy Bond University Film and Television Award (BUFTA). BUFTA is a short film competition for aspiring filmmakers from Year 11 and 23 secondary schools across Australia and Uday was one of two finalists from the Northern Territory.

On Wednesday 1 November the Port Adelaide Australian Football League (AFL) Club came to Darwin High School to deliver their Power To Be Positive Program. The program provides young people the skills and knowledge necessary to demonstrate resilience when they are confronted with challenging situations.
