​Four Darwin High School students have continued the school’s longstanding tradition of participating in the annual Remembrance Day ceremony at the Darwin Cenotaph on Saturday 11 November.

​Congratulations to Darwin High School Year 12 student, Uday Alexander on his film Constable Rebound winning the 2017 Comedy Bond University Film and Television Award (BUFTA). BUFTA is a short film competition for aspiring filmmakers from Year 11 and 23 secondary schools across Australia and Uday was one of two finalists from the Northern Territory.

Darwin High School Year 12 student ​Nathan Sawyer was the first Darwin High School students to graduate from the NTPFES Cadetship program earlier this month.

​On Friday 10 November Darwin High School held its annual end of year Dance Performance. The performance showcased the incredible talent of the Darwin High School dance students and was described by the audience as entertaining, engaging and exciting.

​Darwin High School Year 10 student Faiza Choudhury has been selected to participate in the 2018 Chief Minister's Anzac Spirit Study Tour.

On Wednesday 1 November Darwin High School students welcomed the HMAS Darwin as it sailed into Darwin for the last time.

​Darwin High School will again send a Basketball team to the International High School Basketball Championships in Malaysia next month to defend their title as Championship winners from the 2016 competition.

​On Wednesday 1 November the Port Adelaide Australian Football League (AFL) Club came to Darwin High School to deliver their Power To Be Positive Program. The program provides young people the skills and knowledge necessary to demonstrate resilience when they are confronted with challenging situations.
