​On Tuesday 18 September Darwin High School Stage 2 Child Studies students visited Transition classes at Stuart Park Primary School.

​On Tuesday 11 September, nineteen Darwin High School Chinese language students went on an excursion to the Confucius Institute at Charles Darwin University.

​Ms Goodsell and Ms Schuman’s Stage 1 Legal Studies classes were given a taste of presenting arguments in a “court” in the last week of Term.

​It was smiles all around (and perhaps some tears too) at the celebratory lunch with staff and SIEU students on Wednesday as they farewelled the former SIEU students who are soon to complete Year 12 and their NTCET.

​On Saturday 22 September our Year 12 student Jemma Young won the VET School Student category at the 2018 NT Training Awards.

​Following the success of the hit ABC TV show, War on Waste, Darwin High Teacher Jodie Clegg and a team of teachers and students have started a movement to Go Green.

​Darwin High School Year 12 Business Enterprise Student Alisa Mai will represent the Northern Territory in Division One of the Commonwealth Bank Australian Plan Your Own Enterprise Competition (PYOE) for 2018.

T​his term, two Darwin High School Stage 1 Integrated Learning PE Classes participated in a five week sailing unit where students are assessed on their practical skills as well as documenting their own personal venture.

O​n Saturday 1 September Darwin High School students attended the 2018 Northern Territory Japanese Speech Contest. The NT Japanese Speech Contest is the regional contest used to select a Northern Territory representative for the National competition.

​On Thursday 30 August the winners of the 28th Young Territory Author Awards 2018 were announced at the Darwin Entertainment Centre. The event saw two Darwin High School students recognised for their entries as talented young writers.
