On Friday 12 April Darwin High School and Darwin Middle School students came together to celebrate the end of term and the final heat of Battle of the School Bands.
Northern Territory Youth Week (or NTYW) is an annual celebration of young people across the Territory and involved a range of activities last month. The NTYW 2019 Ambassador was Darwin High School’s own alumna Rochelle Cabry. Included in her calendar of events across the Territory was a visit to her old stomping ground, the DHS campus.
Darwin High School fielded three teams in the Northern Territory Debate Competition this year. Each of the teams participated admirably and enjoyed the competition whilst developing their skills in public speaking and argument.
On Tuesday 30 March twenty Darwin High School students and three teachers departed Darwin for the annual Melbourne Arts Trip.
Darwin High School students are celebrating great success in the 2019 Arafura Games. The biennial event officially opened on 26 April and will conclude on Monday 4 May.
