​Darwin High School students celebrated Australia’s multiculturalism and our schools diverse community with a Harmony event on Thursday 21 March at lunchtime.

​On Monday 25 March Darwin High School welcomed a visit from Professor Lisa Harvey-Smith, the Australian Government’s Women in STEM Ambassador.

​Darwin High School has been raising awareness of the impact of bullying. Our SRC in conjunction with Stage 1 Health students organised an awareness campaign and a series of events to send a strong united message to the community in support of the elimination of bulling and violence.

Initially created in 2012 as a Darwin High School and SLIDE Youth Dance Theatre partnership Brave is being remounted in 2019 in response to the increase in Bullying incidents across Australia.

​On Monday 5 March 92 Darwin High School students went on an English excursion to Brown’s Mart to see the play Cosi. We all had a fabulous time.

​On Friday 8 March nine Darwin High School students attended the GRIP Student Leadership conference to gain insight and develop skills to apply in their leadership positions at Darwin High School.

​On Thursday 14 March the Darwin High School Netball teams competed in the regional senior school’s competition.

​The twelfth annual World Autism Awareness Day is April 2. This year Darwin High School will be participating in an 8-day walking challenge and host a BBQ, fundraising to raise awareness for this important cause.
