The RACI Titration Competition is held every year at CDU and involves over 100 students. This year was a great year for the Darwin High Titration Squad.

On Wednesday 21 November a number of Darwin High School students were invited to the Australian Mathematics Trust Awards to celebrate their achievement in the Australian Mathematics Competition.

​On Thursday 22 November fourteen Darwin High School students received recognition at The NT Youth Business Awards at Parliament House Darwin for their efforts and achievements in business and enterprise. Darwin High School was awarded the Overall Winner for 2018 for Consistently High Performing Entries.

On Friday 26 October the Darwin High School Year 10 C4E Science and Maths classes attended the National Finals of the Newcastle University Science and Engineering Challenge held at Taminmin College.

​Four Darwin High School students have continued the School’s longstanding tradition of participating in the annual Remembrance Day ceremony at the Darwin Cenotaph on Sunday 11 November.

Darwin High students took to the water for the 2018 Secondary Schools Swimming Carnival and came away with some outstanding results.​

​Earlier this month Darwin High School welcomed three students and a teacher on exchange from Ambon, Indonesia. This is the second part of the exchange, with our Indonesian Language students visiting Ambon last term.

Last week the DHS Rotary Interact Club held their last charity event for 2018. This final event raised an impressive $160 in one lunchtime which bought 8 bales of hay for drought stricken farmers across Australia. ​Darwin High School Year 12 student Max Conaghan has been announced as a finalist in the 2018 Bond University Film and Television Awards (BUFTA).
