​Darwin High School parents/carers, students and staff are invited to complete the Darwin High School 2018 NT School Survey. The survey is live from Monday 13 August to Friday 31 August.

​On Saturday 18 August, four Darwin High students joined around two hundred members of the general public at the annual Vietnam Veterans Commemorative Service. Year 10 student Liam Harwood, Year 12 students Kiara Hind, Zoe Heath and Paris Rahul represented the school at the event.

On Friday 10 August UN Youth NT ran their NT Evatt competition at Charles Darwin University. Evatt is a competition that takes the form of a mock session of the UN Security Council.

​On Friday 17 August the Darwin High School band took part in the 73rd Indonesian Independence Day ceremony at the Indonesian Consulate in Darwin.

The DHS Debate Club is a student-driven club which produces debaters who have gone on to successfully represent the Northern Territory in local and Inter-State competitions. Our after-school debates allow members to work on team dynamics and to hone their debating skills.

On Thursday 23 August the Darwin High School SRC held a Book Week parade at lunchtime, to the 2018 theme Find your treasure

​On Friday 17 August Darwin High School held its third annual Pride Day event. This student-led initiative supported LGBTQIA+ students, and is part of Darwin High School’s ongoing wellbeing focus.

​On Thursday 16th September, the Stage 1 Politics class went on an excursion to Parliament House.
