Darwin High School is taking part in World's Greatest Shave to help beat blood cancer. This year the event is being led by our Student Representative Council and their teacher Mrs Sevasti Redwood.
Last month Darwin High School was fortunate enough to receive a visit from members of the Chiba Family, descendants of one of the submariners who perished in the I-124 Japanese submarine sinking on the 20th of January, 1942 off the coast of the Northern Territory.
Tuesday February 19 2019 marked the 77th anniversary of the bombing of Darwin. Darwin High School has a longstanding tradition of volunteering at the event and this year thirty of our students assisted with the ceremony.

On Saturday 2 February the 2018 Exit Art Exhibition opened at the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory. Our talented Year 12 student Phoebe Wear performed for the crowd.
Last Thursday love was in the air on campus, thanks to a joint fundraising initiative by our SRC, the Interact Club and the Stage 2 Catering Class.
Our Stage 2 Health students are doing Febfast throughout February and they have all chosen something to give up for the month.
Darwin High School staff and Board wish to congratulate all of our Year 12 students on their outstanding results in 2018. Many of these excellent results were recognised at the NT Board of Studies Awards on Friday 8 February at Parliament House.
The Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services (NTPFES) Cadetship Program offers students the opportunity to obtain training in public safety and business.
